If your cushion is not square or rectangle and not featured on our site, it is considered a custom cushion. All custom cushions require a template or pattern so that we can satisfy your needs.

A template is a paper or cloth pattern cut to the shape of the cushion you want to purchase.

If you have an existing cushion:

• First, place your existing cushion on top of the paper of cloth and carefully trace the outline of the cushion.
• Cut it out and double check to make sure it is the same size as the existing cushion.

If you do not have an existing cushion:

• You will need to measure the shape of the chair, bench, etc.
• Lay paper or cloth down and fold the shape to the chair, then cut the shape out. This may take a few tries to get it exactly right. Make sure you double check for accuracy because your cushions will be made exactly like your template.

Once the template is cut out, mark the template with your name, invoice number, where you want the zipper and if you want fabric ties, specify where. This is very important.
